To date, the most common factors contributing to Type 2 Diabetes has to do with diabetes eating red flags such as a high calorie diet, obesity and being overweight and a lack of physical activity. This is not to say that if you currently can say you are living the lifestyle stated above that you are going to develop diabetes. We can’t forget that genetics plays a role here as well but these lifestyle factors definitely increase your risk for Type 2.

Everyone needs to be educated and informed when it comes to diabetes because it is literally becoming an epidemic in the USA today. Men, women and children are developing diabetes at a more common and frequent rate than ever before in history.

If you are currently not as active as you could be and consuming a high calorie diet these are two changes that need to be made in order to help reduce your risk. While eating sugar doesn’t cause diabetes, diabetic eating to the point of obesity can.
